- Define release readiness criteria and quality gates for all product launches.
- Lead API testing strategy across REST and service-based architectures.
- Implement contract testing, schema validation, and API versioning strategies.
- Validate authentication, authorization, rate limiting, error handling, idempotency, and backward compatibility.
- Integrate API quality metrics and automated quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
- Drive a balanced automation strategy that maximizes coverage, reliability, and execution speed.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to provide fast, actionable feedback.
- Reduce test flakiness and improve pipeline stability and signal quality.
- Apply AI-driven techniques to improve quality outcomes, including test case generation, coverage analysis, risk-based regression prioritization, defect clustering, root-cause analysis, log analysis, and anomaly detection.
- Ensure AI usage is secure, explainable, and aligned with company data governance and security standards.
- Lead testing for device, firmware, and cloud service integration workflows.
- Build, maintain, and scale a hardware testing lab to validate compatibility, performance, and third-party integrations.
- Partner with Engineering and DevOps/SRE to define and monitor quality signals, release health metrics, and operational reliability.

- Act as the quality voice across Product, Engineering, and Leadership, proactively surfacing risk and driving alignment on priorities and tradeoffs.
- Champion quality as a core business differentiator rather than a final checkpoint.
