In this role, you’ll be at the heart of managing, optimizing, and scaling a world-class network infrastructure that powers our global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain cutting-edge network infrastructure to deliver unparalleled availability, scalability, and security for our global operations.
  • Assist with the implementation of EVPN-VXLAN to establish scalable overlay networks that support distributed environments seamlessly.
  • Build and utilize advanced tools like Prometheus and Grafana to enhance observability, monitor network health, and ensure peak performance 24/7.
  • Manage and optimize complex routing protocols like BGP, IPSec, and ICCP to ensure high-performance connectivity across our interconnected global sites.
  • Configure and manage firewalls (Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto, or similar) to enforce robust security policies and maintain compliance standards across regions.
  • Partner with cross-functional infrastructure teams to deliver seamless networking solutions for containerized applications, driving innovation and reliability.
  • Write and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Ansible to streamline operations and maximize efficiency.
  • Tackle network-related incidents of all complexities with agility and precision, ensuring minimal downtime and exceptional user experiences.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer, with deep knowledge of Juniper EVPN or VXLAN, advanced routing protocols, and firewalls.
  • Solid understanding of protocols like BGP, OSPF, and MPLS, and their role in building high-performance, scalable networks.
  • Hands-on experience with cutting-edge monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana, ensuring network health and proactive troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with firewall configuration and network security best practices to maintain robust and compliant infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Linux system administration and scripting using tools like Python, Bash, or Ansible to simplify and optimize operations.
  •  Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network challenges independently and effectively.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with a proactive approach to embracing new technologies and solving dynamic challenges.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to data centers to support on-site requirements and maintain global connectivity.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with tools like grep, awk, sed, and tcpdump for effective system analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Anycast and cloud-based MPLS/SD-WAN solutions to support scalable, cutting-edge network architectures.
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes components and VXLAN overlay networks for robust, containerized environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Juniper QFX series switches, optimizing performance in advanced network setups.
