Summary
Eagle Eye Networks is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Evangelist to drive the adoption and revenue growth of the Eagle Eye Video API Platform. As a Product Evangelist, you will be responsible for promoting the benefits and value of our API to potential integration partners within the security industry. Your focus will be on building strong relationships, identifying revenue opportunities, and fostering a vibrant ecosystem of API integrations.

Responsibilities

  • API Evangelism: Champion the Eagle Eye Video API Platform externally and internally, acting as the primary advocate and spokesperson for the API platform. Educate, inspire, and engage potential integration partners on the benefits and capabilities of the API.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key players in the security industry, including software vendors, technology providers, and system integrators. Collaborate with the partnership team to nurture and grow the partner ecosystem.
  • Revenue Generation: Develop strategies and initiatives to turn API integrations into a revenue source. Identify innovative monetization models and work closely with the sales team to convert integration partnerships into profitable business opportunities.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential integration partners, understanding their unique needs and aligning them with the capabilities of the Eagle Eye Video API Platform. Act as a trusted advisor and consultant to partners, offering guidance and support throughout the integration process.
  • Technical Enablement: Provide technical guidance and support to integration partners, assisting them in successfully integrating and leveraging the Eagle Eye Video API Platform. Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to ensure a smooth integration experience for partners.
  • Thought Leadership: Position yourself as a thought leader in the security industry and the API integration space. Stay up-to-date with market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy and identify new opportunities.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content, including case studies, whitepapers, webinars, and presentations, highlighting the value and success stories of API integrations. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to raise awareness and generate interest.
  • Feedback Gathering: Act as a liaison between integration partners and internal teams, collecting feedback, feature requests, and market insights. Use this feedback to drive continuous improvement of the API platform and inform future product enhancements.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, computer science, engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience as a Product Evangelist, Developer Evangelist, or similar role, preferably in the security industry or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of API integration concepts and experience working with API platforms.
  • Familiarity with the security industry, including knowledge of video management systems, access control, or related technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify revenue opportunities and drive partnerships towards revenue generation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented mindset, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with partners at all levels.
  • Experience in creating compelling marketing content and presenting at industry events is a plus.
  • Being able to fluently speak a second language (Spanish, German, French) besides English is an advantage.
