Overview
Eagle Eye Networks is seeking a Data Center Technician. This position requires a mid-level technical understanding of power requirements and Linux servers. The ideal candidate for this role will be confident in their ability to build, rack, and support servers and storage machines. This role will be directly involved with building a cutting-edge infrastructure and building out local and international data center infrastructure. This position is ideally suited for a positive, self-motivated team member who is excited to grow their skill set, implementing real-world tools and infrastructure spanning the globe. 

Responsibilities 

• Perform installations, upgrades, maintenance, and decommissioning of data center equipment.

• Collaborate with network engineering, SRE, platform, manufacturing, and other teams to deliver infrastructure projects.

• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for physical infrastructure deployments in production and non-production environments.

• Conduct site surveys, audits, migrations, upgrades, and capacity expansions.

• Maintain accurate technical documentation and ensure all records are current.

• Manage equipment inventory, asset tracking, and resource utilization.

• Monitor data center health using DCIM and monitoring tools to optimize performance.

• Maintain organized rack layouts, structured cabling, and proper labeling standards.

Requirements

• Experience in data center operations, infrastructure deployments, or related technical roles.

• Strong understanding of network hardware, cabling standards, and physical infrastructure.

• Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced, high-demand environments.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and asset management.
