Summary

Eagle Eye Networks is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer who is eager to take ownership of projects and play a crucial role in our success. As part of our team in Austin, TX, you'll contribute to the underlying systems of the largest cloud video surveillance platform in the world. Your expertise in Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and automation will support our ongoing growth and innovation. Responsibilities

• Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the cloud video surveillance platform with opportunities to take ownership of projects
• Collaborate with development teams to define best practices and automate processes
• Provide operational support to code teams, ensuring seamless functioning of software applications
• Participate in on-call rotations, responding to incidents outside regular working hours
• Develop software automation solutions to enhance stability, security, and efficiency
• Create and maintain CI/CD processes for smooth software delivery and updates
• Monitor the production cloud environment's health and performance, acting as a point of escalation when needed

Experience Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience with Linux
• Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes
• Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) – Ansible or Terraform preferred
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and their challenges
• Experience with build automation and continuous integration
• Experience working with common metrics and log aggregation systems

Nice to Have:

• Experience scripting in languages like Python, Go, or Shell
• Worked with large-scale private or public clouds
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and associated tools
• Understanding of common networking concepts
